Lake Duluti is a small, beautiful crater lake that offers views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Is beautifully located in between a lush forest that surrounds the lake, making it a peaceful place to unwind only 20 minutes from Arusha. The area is home to over a hundred species of birds, reptiles, and monkeys swinging from the trees.

Activities that can be done from the lake are canoeing, bird watching, guided nature walks, and fishing. All a great way to get up close with the wildlife that surrounds the crater. You will be accompanied by a guide on activities that can identify the wildlife and teach you about the area. So whether you calmly canoe around the lake or walk the shoreline you are sure to spot many different birds up close. Common birds seen are giant kingfisher, darters, fish eagle and many more.

On Wednesday and Saturday, you can also take a stroll through the local market.
