Three beautiful national parks in three unforgettable days.
This tour is a customer favourite with breathtaking scenery and a huge variety of spectacular animals to spot. From the tree climbing lions at Lake Manyara, stunning families of elephants trundling across the Tarangire, to the diversity of Ngorongoro with the chance to spot some of the rarest species like the black Rhino. Spend three days and two nights enjoying some of the best sights Tanzania has to offer.
Our driver will pick you up at JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport) and we will head to Arusha for an overnight stay at Onsea House / Machweo or your accommodation of choice
After breakfast our driver will collect you and head into Arusha town for any last-minute purchases before heading off on a 2-3 hour drive to the Tarangire National park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and ancient baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. After a morning game drive, we will stop for our packed lunch and cold drinks. We’ll bring you to your accommodation in Karatu before the evening sets in, either in the park or outside of it depending on your choice of hotel. Dinner will be served at your accommodation.
Accommodation:
After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the day you will descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 meters) into the Ngorongoro crater floor, exploring over 2500 species of fauna and flora found in the crater. Black rhinos, hippos, prides of lions and much more can be seen in the richly diverse crater. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. After enjoying a feast for the eyes you’ll head back to the lodge for a delicious lunch before driving to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Accommodation:
After breakfast, you will head out on a morning game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park. Well known for its huge elephant population and ancient baobab trees, the park has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world! Keep an eye out for the incredible bird life and the lions which are renowned for their tree climbing. After a morning game drive, we will stop for our packed lunch and cold drinks. After lunch it is time to head back to Arusha town, whilst taking in the beautiful African landscapes and flicking through your safari snaps!
