Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the lodge or take a short stroll in the lush gardens. The evening is yours to settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Kogatende Airstrip, located in the remote Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, your private safari guide will meet you and take you on your first game drive in this incredible region. The Northern Serengeti is especially famed for its Mara River crossings, where wildebeest brave crocodile-infested waters during the Great Migration. Enjoy an afternoon exploring the wilderness before arriving at your tented camp.
Today is a full-day exploration of the Northern Serengeti. Begin with a hearty breakfast before heading out in search of wildlife. This region is not only the best place to witness the Great Migration river crossings, but it also offers excellent opportunities to spot big cats, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of birdlife. The scenic terrain of grasslands, rocky outcrops, and river valleys makes every turn a photo opportunity. Return to camp in the late afternoon to unwind and enjoy dinner under the stars.
Enjoy one final breakfast in the Serengeti and perhaps a short morning game drive, depending on your flight schedule. Later, you’ll be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
