This is the combination of both cultural and game viewing safari where you will have an opportunity to search for big five in Tarangire and Ngorongoro, Mountain bike tour to Lake Duluti and one of the local coffee plantation tour. Local lunch experience is something not to miss on this tour.
On arrival at the airport your driver will meet and greet you at the arrival gate. After meet and greet and an introduction about the country you will be transferred to Olerai Lodge for dinner and over night ( please note you are on BB basis so dinner will be at own expense).
The most iconic tribal group in all of Africa, the Maasai, are the dominant ethnic group. This nomadic, warrior tribe are still retain many of their traditions as they live largely untouched by modern day civilization. This one hour visit to a Maasai village is a chance to interact with them and get a glimpse into their culture, unique way of life and see first hand some of their customs and practices.
After breakfast at the Lodge you will depart to tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. Tarangire National Park is famous for the thousands of elephabts that come down to the park during dry season in search of water, but there are also plenty of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo and hippos as well as the big cats.
After early breakfast you will descend into Ngorongoro crater, What makes Ngorongoro unique other than being the biggest intact (unbroken) volcanic caldera on Earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa.
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at Olerai drive to Arusha city where you will grab you Mountain Bike and start a tour to Lake Duluti followed by typical local swahili lunch at one of the family this is the great experience on how swahili food is prepared to the table. After lunch you will proceed by walking to water falls and visit one of the local coffee and banana farm.
On this day you have choice to either relax at the lodge or do the Arusha city tour where you will be able to do some shopping at Cultural Heritage the largest art gallery in East and central Africa combine this with the visit to Tanzanite museum. Tanzanite is the precious game found only in Arusha and not anywhere else in the world.... get to the the story behind.
This is the last day with us. Your driver will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight back home or to the next destination.
