Our representative will meet and greet you upon arrival and transfer you to your Hotel through the busy tourist city of Arusha while enjoying the landscape of this beautiful city drop you at Olerai Lodge where you will overnight on FB basis ready for the next day activity.
After breakfast your driver will pick you up in the morning with packed lunch you will be taken to the slope of Mount Meru for an 8km walk through the Mount Meru forest, an old thick forest with magnitude of birds, colobus monkeys and small antelopes. You will have lunch in a beautiful spot at the top of the waterfall where you have a stunning view over Arusha town.
After breakfast we depart to Tarangire National park with packed lunches for morning game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa's little gems and should be on the itinerary of all wilderness lovers. The wildlife is a diverse as its landscape are among the largest in Tanzania or perhaps in whole Africa.
After breakfast at the lodge we drive to Lake Manyara National Park which lying at the foot of the scenic Manyara Escarpment and surrounding the Lake. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its diverse wildlife, acacia woodland and rich diversity of birdlife.
After breakfast at the Lodge your guide will brief you of all the activities and start with the visit to one of the primary school on the way to school will submerse you in the local way of life, housing, social structure, agriculture etc. In the school your guide will be joined by pupil and together they will tell you everything about a Tanzania primary school. After school it will be lunch time and this is time to enjoy pure local Tanzanian lunch at one of the local family. After lunch you will do a coffee farm tour followed by Lake Duluti Forest Reserve. The Duluti tour takes you to the Caldera lake where you can choose between a forest walk and a canoe trip on the lake. What makes this trip so interesting is that according to the local beliefs, the lakes hide many stories and is a popular place for worshipping.
This is your day to rest at the Lodge enjoying the swimming pool and reading novels digesting the safari you have done. Enjoying some cocktails and wines you can optionally choose to go to Arusha city for shopping or visit Tanzanite Museum. Tanzanite gem mining are only in Arusha and not anywhere else in the world.
This is the last day of your safari, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport in time for your next destination flight.
